Designing Landscapes and Architecture, creating natural gardens, and proposing new ways of thinking about interactions with the natural world.
Julie studied at l'Ecole d'architecture Paris Val-de-Seine, worked and studied with the Groupe de Recherche en Ambiances Physiques at Laval University in Québec, and is a graduate of Ryerson University's Department of Architectural Science in Toronto. Julie has been a Ryerson Department of Architectural Science adjunct faculty since 2008. Her design projects have brought her to work with various architecture firms and artists in Canada, France and Vietnam. Recently completed the Landscape Design Certificate at the Chang School in Toronto.
Julie's current artistic projections are tied to cartography, photography and historical analysis, which she then translates to hand drawings with mixed media, including ink, graphite and watercolour on paper and boards. Currently working with historic documents, her drawings are investigating the relationships of Rivers and Cities through Time. She's playing traditional Irish music when not submerged in the creation of spacial art.
